China Driving License 
 

Overseas / Taiwan / Hong Kong / Macao drivers' licenses and international driving licenses are not recognized to drive in China. Foreigners and people from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao with valid Chinese visas can apply for Chinese drivers' licenses. The Chinese driving license is valid for 6 years, and can be renewed every 6 year.

The documents needed for Chinese Driving License:
1) A copy of the passport page
2) A copy of the valid Chinese visa
3) A copy of the latest entry stamp in your passport
3) Original overseas driving license
4) 8 one-inch color pictures (with white background)
5) Your Chinese name, weight and height
